Terms and Conditions, Cancellations & Refund Policy
Workshops, Art Therapy Retreats, Art Therapy Sessions, and/or Supervision and Coaching Sessions (Face-to-Face):

At Gestalt Art Therapy Centre, our mission is to offer the best services to clients by providing training, psychological attention, and coaching in a safe environment.

General Information:

Participation in any workshops, retreats, sessions, or supervision at Gestalt Art Therapy Centre means that you accept all the policy conditions referred to on this page.

It is not allowed to use the Gestalt Art Therapy Centre logo or the Arteterapia Gestalt logo under any circumstances without written permission from the Directors.

It is not permitted to post official certificates with the signatures of the Directors of the Gestalt Art Therapy Centre in public online spaces. You may share the “online certificate” that you will receive along with the official certificate (without signatures) in public online spaces.

Art Therapy Sessions, Supervisions & Coaching (Face-to-Face):

A registration form must be completed before sessions. Payments should be completed before the session or within one day after the session. Failure to do so may result in legal issues, additional charges, and ineligibility for future supervisions.

If an appointment is canceled 24 hours before the session, you may choose another time (no charge). If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the session, you will be charged 50% of the fee and will need to arrange a new appointment and payment.

Art Therapy Sessions, Supervisions & Coaching (Online):

A registration form must be completed before sessions. Payments should be completed before the session or within one day after the session. Failure to do so may result in legal issues, additional charges, and ineligibility for future supervisions.

Clients must ensure that their systems (PC, tablet, phone, Skype, WhatsApp, Google Meet) are functioning properly before each session. If communication is not possible due to the client’s failure to check systems before the session, the session will be classified as done and must be paid for. If the client wishes to have a session, a new booking and payment will be required.

Workshops Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your participation 30 days or more before the start of the workshop, the Organizers (Gestalt Art Therapy Centre) will refund 50% of the total amount paid. The remaining 50% will be charged to cover administrative costs.

If you cancel your participation less than 30 days before the start of the workshop, there will be no refund. Unfortunately, in these circumstances, there will be no exchange for any other products or another workshop day(s).

The workshop may be canceled (face-to-face format) if there are not a minimum of participants. Online workshops/webinars: If, on the day of the workshop, we do not have a minimum number of participants, the live workshop will not proceed, and you will receive a recording.
To receive your certificate for CPD points, we will send you a feedback form and ask you to complete the activities proposed during the recorded workshop. You will need to send us your reflections on the activities along with photos of your Collage. No economic refunds will be made. -
Online events: The event will be recorded and shared with other participants. Participating in this event means that you give us permission to use the recording in a public way and/or distribute the content with other participants and/ or social media, without any kind of claim.

Online Workshops:

If you cancel your participation less than 24 hours before the day of the workshop, there is no refund or credit, and the payment will be forfeited.

Participants are required to have the necessary materials to participate in the workshop. If you cancel due to a lack of materials, the payment will not be refunded. The list of required materials will be available on the website and in emails sent before the event.

Online workshops/webinars: If, on the day of the workshop, we do not have a minimum number of participants, the live workshop will not proceed, and you will receive a recording.

Communication and Notification: Participants will be notified of the cancellation of a live event and provided with access to the webinar recording via email or through the event's official communication channel.
This policy ensures that participants still receive valuable content and helps the organizers manage event logistics efficiently. -
This policy aims to ensure that participants are aware of the potential for "Live event" cancellations and the conditions related to refunds and rescheduling. The policy also clarifies the organizers' commitment to providing content to participants even if a live event is cancelled.

Access to the recording is available for one year from the date of purchase.

Online Training Cancellation Policy:

Once an online course (short or long) has been paid for and the participant has received the course or part of it online, no refund is possible.

The use of any content from Gestalt Art Therapy Centre, Gemma Garcia, and/or Yaro Starak for profit and economic exploitation (like using the material to offer similar training, workshops, webinars) is prohibited unless authorized in writing by the course authors.

All content of the website and/or courses is the intellectual property of the authors Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak and is protected by copyright. Any illegal activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and may result in financial penalties.

Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak are not responsible for the misuse of materials and/or knowledge acquired by course participants. It is the responsibility of each participant to use this knowledge ethically.

Gestalt Art Therapy Centre and its directors, Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak, do not grant official certificates to course participants (in person or online) to become or practice as a Gestalt Therapist, Art Therapist, and/or Psychologist.

This policy aims to ensure that participants are aware of the potential for "Live event" cancellations and the conditions related to refunds and rescheduling. The policy also clarifies the organizers' commitment to providing content to participants even if a live event is cancelled.

Access to the recording is available for one year from the date of purchase.

Art Therapy Retreats Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your participation more than 90 days before the start of the Art Therapy retreat, and if the Organizers have not yet paid your accommodation and catering fees to the Venue, the Organizers will charge 50% of the paid fee to cover administrative costs and refund you 50% of the total payment. Bank and/or PayPal commissions are not included in any refund.

If you cancel your participation less than 90 days before the start of the Art Therapy retreat, due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness or COVID-19, no refund will be issued to cover accommodation reservations and administrative fees.

The retreat organizers reserve the right to change the dates and venue of the retreat if necessary, with prior notice to participants. The organizers will not be held responsible for any circumstances affecting participants as a result of these changes.

COVID-19 and Flu Season:
To ensure the safety of all patients and counsellors, and in alignment with the Australian Government Health Department’s guidelines, please be aware of the following protocols for face-to-face sessions:

Pre-session Requirements:
Temperature Checks: Before each session, all participants will have their temperature checked. If a participant has a fever (37°C or higher), cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath, they will not be admitted to the session, and it will be rescheduled.
Government Guidance on COVID-19:
Testing Positive: If you test positive for COVID-19, you must reschedule your session. Please follow the advice from Queensland Health regarding the necessary steps to take.

Close Contact:
If you are identified as a close contact, you must have a negative COVID-19 test on the day of the session.
You are required to wear a mask during the session.
If you test positive, please reschedule your session.

Important Notice:

Workshop Content and Confidentiality: During the workshop, we will not conduct therapy sessions for participants. All workshop content and information shared by participants are private and confidential.

Respect and Conduct: Our policy emphasizes total respect for all participants. Any participant displaying disrespectful behavior will be asked to leave the event without a refund or credit for another event.

Disclosure Policy: In accordance with our disclosure policy, if we believe that you or another person is at risk, we will report the situation.

Psychological Treatment: If you are undergoing psychological treatment, please contact us to discuss your participation.

No refunds are available. Vouchers may be issued, but confirmation with the Directors is required.

Bank Transfers: If you choose to pay via bank transfer, your bank account details will be used solely for the purpose of processing your payment and will not be shared with any third parties.

PayPal: If you choose to pay via PayPal, your payment information will be processed through PayPal’s secure platform. We do not store your PayPal account details on our systems.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
Gestalt Art Therapy Centre does not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to provide our services. We may disclose your information if:
